U.S. spot bitcoin exchange-traded funds lost $411.92 million in net outflows on Friday, November 6, 2026, according to SoSoValue data reported by TokenPost and Bloomingbit. It was the second straight day of withdrawals. Bloomingbit said $430.2 million left the funds on Thursday, bringing the two-day total to $842.12 million.

Almost all of Friday's selling came from one fund. BlackRock's iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT), the largest bitcoin ETF, saw about $403 million go out the door.

Monday–Thursday figures from TFTC and CoinCentral; Friday from SoSoValue via TokenPost and Bloomingbit. Data providers can differ slightly, so the weekly total, our own sum of these daily figures, is approximate.

For IBIT, Friday extended a run of withdrawals. CoinCentral, citing Farside Investors, counted $1.04 billion of IBIT outflows over the five sessions from Oct. 30 through Nov. 5. Adding Friday's $403 million from SoSoValue puts the streak at six sessions and roughly $1.44 billion, by our calculation.

Cumulative net inflows into the funds since launch stood at about $55.7 billion after Friday, both outlets reported. TokenPost put the funds' total net assets at $95.90 billion, of which IBIT held $60.29 billion.

What it means for investors

Spot ETFs are how many U.S. investors hold bitcoin in a regular brokerage or retirement account, so daily flows are a rough gauge of demand from that crowd. When funds see net outflows, they generally have to sell bitcoin to pay departing shareholders, which takes away a source of buying.

Thursday's outflows came on the same day the Nasdaq Composite fell 5.5% and bitcoin slipped below $76,000, Cointelegraph reported. Our earlier coverage of Thursday's $430 million in ETF outflows explains how that day unfolded.

Flows can turn quickly, though. The funds took in money as recently as Wednesday, and bitcoin trades all weekend while ETF flows only resume on Monday.
