Advertising and Affiliate Disclosure

Last updated: November 4, 2026

Berawang News is free to read. To pay for our work, we may earn money in the ways described below. None of them gives anyone control over what our newsroom covers or what it says.

Advertising

We may show display advertising supplied by ad networks. Ads are selected by those networks, not by our writers, and they are visually separate from our articles. Seeing an ad on our site does not mean we endorse the product.

Affiliate links

Some pages, such as reviews and guides, may include affiliate links to brokers, exchanges, apps or other financial products. If you click one and sign up or make a purchase, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Pages with affiliate links say so near the top. Affiliate links are marked for search engines as sponsored.

Commissions do not affect our ratings or what we recommend. We review products against the criteria explained in each review, and we include drawbacks as well as benefits.

Sponsored content

A company may pay to publish an article on our site. Sponsored articles are labelled “Sponsored” at the top, are listed in a separate section, are not written by our newsroom, and are not included in our news feeds for search engines. We decline sponsored content that we believe could mislead readers, including promotions that promise guaranteed returns.

Press releases

We may publish press releases supplied by companies. They are labelled “Press Release”, published as received, and not edited or verified by our newsroom.

Our news coverage

Advertisers, sponsors and affiliate partners cannot review, approve or change our news stories before or after they are published. Our standards are set out in our editorial policy.
